Layers in the Landscape

For this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge, Amy has asked us to do layers. Layers in the landscape are visual candy, forming patterns and adding depth to images.

I love layers! In fact, I had such a hard time deciding which photos to use that I have decided to show instead of telling, using pictures instead of words. Enjoy the layers!

  1. Wow… great selections! I love these various layers, all are beautifully captured. I love the last one especially!

    1. Thanks, Vicki. That was taken on the border of Carrizo Plains National Monument. If they’re having a good year, it’s hands down the best wildflower show I’ve seen anywhere, and that is really saying something!

  2. Love the variety of nature’s wonderful layers! And – if that is your view…the last one – you are a lucky woman!

    1. Thanks, Leya! BTW, that’s just the backdoor view – the view from my front porch is even better!
